      Procedures and Requirements will be adapted to include information such as the purpose of the procedure/requirement, its scope, roles and responsibilities, the owner, history, and enforcement. All formalized procedures / requirements should be reviewed, updated and approved on a periodic (e.g. annual) basis and made available in a central location for easy reference by their users. Once a formal information security board policy has been established, all new employees should be provided a copy to review and sign off, acknowledging they have read and understand their responsibilities.
