Thinking about this and google apps integration it dawns on me that we can create a domain for student emails with google for free. Then we’d be able to utilize calendaring functions on the phones along with a teachers google calendar they’ve set up for assignments. For those heavily using moodle a calendar extracts to sunbird/ical and that automatically updates google calendar… which could update a student’s calendar if subscribed. Interesting!
