Our district has long been accepting of innovative tools to support student learning. In addition to informed consent we develop and maintain Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to guide appropriate use of online tools.
Current PIAs on file in our district include Learn60 Google Apps, MyEducationBC, ActivityRight, FollettShelf, BC Digital Classroom, MyBlueprint, Curio, Learn360, FreshGrade, Mathletics and Microsoft 365. Our PIA’s are available through request to the Secretary-Treasurer office via 250-262-6000 .
Staff wishing to use other tools not listed below can submit information about their desired tool/app/service to help begin a PIA in collaboration with Technology Services. Please see the linked form for more information.

| Zoom Communications is a video conferencing application with a negotiated Provincial agreement for use by BC School Districts. Zoom is used to connect with others at a distance through audio and video. Licensed accounts can be configured for storage of any recordings in Canada.
